Expressing the Bouquet in Watercolor DVD with Janet Rogers.

In “Expressing the Bouquet in Watercolor”, Janet Rogers’ latest DVD demo, the popular artist and instructor leads us through a painting session that is full of insight into her spontaneous and unique painting style. Fresh flowers in the studio will be the inspiration for the painting. Before beginning, Janet leads the viewer through a few warm-up exercises to connect with the subject, but then be able to “interpret not copy” for the actual painting by watching the paper and responding intuitively. “Painting should be fun, fresh and exciting without the pressure of trying to make a masterpiece. My goal in this demonstration is to share the joy I feel when painting flowers.” Although this DVD is geared more for the intermediate and advanced painters, beginners may find it fun also. Janet’s first DVD on flowers – “Expressive Watercolor Florals” is geared for all levels and would be definitely beneficial for all prior to viewing this new DVD, since Janet goes into more specific detail in her approach to flowers. “Expressing the Bouquet in Watercolor” is Janet’s fourth DVD. The other DVDs available are “Expressive Watercolor Florals”, “Expressive Watercolor Portraits”, and “Watercolor Rhythms with Figures”. All are Artist Palette Productions. 104 minute art instruction video.
